Morgan joined the UCSF PlaySafe program in March 2025, bringing a diverse background in athletic training, sports performance, and clinical care to the team. In 2026, she was promoted to Senior Athletic Trainer and Outreach Lead, where she supports student-athletes while also helping build and manage relationships with schools, staff, and community partners throughout the Bay Area. She currently provides athletic training coverage for Mission High School and John O’Connell High School.
Morgan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University in 2017 before pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Performance at Point Loma Nazarene University. While completing her graduate studies, she worked as a graduate assistant at the University of San Diego, where she was later hired as a full-time staff member.
A Bay Area native, Morgan returned home to transition into a clinical role in San Francisco. While working at a private orthopedic practice, she specialized in injury evaluation, post-operative rehabilitation, surgical education, and fitness assessments. Her experience across collegiate athletics and clinical settings has shaped her holistic approach to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athlete well-being.
In her role with PlaySafe, Morgan is passionate about supporting young athletes and ensuring they have access to quality healthcare, education, and resources that allow them to stay active and perform at their best. As Outreach Lead, she is also excited to strengthen connections between PlaySafe and the communities it serves, fostering collaborative relationships that support the health and well-being of student-athletes both on and off the field.
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends, running through the redwoods, or spending time at the park with her dog, Porter, and her cat, Uni.
