Amy Yoerg, ATC
Amy joined the UCSF PlaySafe athletic training staff in the spring of 2025. Prior to her arrival at UCSF, Amy was the Head Athletic Trainer of the Oakland Soul and Project 51O soccer teams, and the Assistant Athletic Trainer of the Oakland Roots.
Amy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Alabama in 2021, where she worked with the Alabama football, gymnastics, softball, and cheer/dance teams. She received her Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Human Performance from the University of West Florida in 2023, where she worked with the soccer and softball teams.
Amy is excited to serve as the Head Athletic Trainer at Lick-Wilmerding High School. Her goal is to help her athletes achieve their dreams on and off the field. Amy believes an athletic trainer is more than healthcare and can have a transformational role in a young adult’s future through education and guidance.
Outside of work Amy enjoys cooking, baking, exploring restaurants with friends, and spending time with her dog.
